PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE NATIONWIDE FRIENDS & FAMILY PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. ANY CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS WILL BE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND MAY BE POSTED TO WWW.NATIONWIDE.COM, SO PLEASE CHECK BACK FROM TIME TO TIME. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROGRAM, YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT YOU MAY HAVE TO RECEIVE SPECIFIC NOTICE OF SUCH CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE FRIENDS & FAMILY PROGRAM. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT ACCESS OR PARTICIPATE IN THE NATIONWIDE FRIENDS & FAMILY PROGRAM. SNOOTLOOT ACCRUED IN CONNECTION WITH THE NATIONWIDE FRIENDS & FAMILY PROGRAM ARE PROMOTIONAL, HAVE NO CASH VALUE AND CANNOT BE REDEEMED FOR CASH.

These Terms of Use apply to your access and participation in the Nationwide Friends & Family Program in the United States, which is operated by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company ("Nationwide") and/or its respective subsidiaries, licensees, and affiliated companies. These Terms of Use do not in any way alter the terms of conditions of any other agreement you may have with Nationwide® for any other products or services.

Nationwide® reserves the right to change or modify these Terms of Use or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to the Nationwide Friends & Family Program, in whole or in part, at any time and in its sole discretion. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you must stop accessing and participating in the Nationwide Friends & Family Program immediately.

The Nationwide Friends & Family Program is intended for personal use only. All and any commercial use is prohibited. The program is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18.

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms of Use and also governs your participation in the Nationwide Friends & Family Program. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how Nationwide collects, uses and discloses information about customers.

The Nationwide Friends & Family Program is one way in which Nationwide pet insurance endeavors to thank loyal customers for choosing to protect their pet with Nationwide® and award them for telling their Friends & Family about Nationwide pet insurance. Nationwide Friends & Family Program participants can collect and accumulate "SnootLoot" that can be redeemed for different perks.

• 500 SnootLoot may be redeemed for a Tier 4 promotional item. Promotional items are subject to change at any time and without notice. Promotional items are valued up to $20 (twenty) U.S. Dollars and may include: cups, mugs, shirts, phone chargers, bags, and more.

Unless otherwise noted, SnootLoot are automatically added to your account within twenty-four (24) hours of actions taken and expire one (1) year after the date in which such SnootLoot were awarded. For example, if you earn SnootLoot on January 1, 2023, they will expire on January 1, 2024. The oldest accrued SnootLoot will be used first for redemptions. You can view and track your SnootLoot balance and available Perks, as well as any additional benefits for which you are eligible as a Nationwide Friends & Family member, at www.petinsurance.com/share.

As a Nationwide Friends & Family member, you may be eligible for the following additional benefits:

• Early or extended access to certain promotions and offers.
  Nationwide may offer Nationwide Friends & Family members early or extended access to special items or offers. Certain offers may be redeemed on partner website. Each offer will have its own terms that apply, which may include an expiration date or require you to share information with the company providing the offer or deal. We are not responsible for any content or offers provided by any partner. The information you provide to the partner to claim or use an offer or benefit is subject to the privacy policy of the partner. When you claim and use an offer or benefit, you release Nationwide and all of its affiliates from liability for your claim and/or usage, and for your participation in the Nationwide Friends & Family Program. Some offers and benefits have additional terms.
• Personalized offers and deals. Special offers may be distributed by email, through the program platform (including via text or push notifications), or by physical mail. You may be required to opt-in and activate special offers via website or via email. To receive and activate personalized special offers distributed via email, you must opt-in to receive promotional and marketing offers from Nationwide, and you may be required to provide a valid email, telephone and physical address. Unless otherwise noted, program participants are automatically opt-ed in to receive promotional material. Participants may change their opt-in status in their account at www.petinsurance.com/share. Special offers may be customized based on your pet and preferences, and may include periodic deals on various pet products, services, or the opportunity to earn Bonus SnootLoot. Special offers may have certain restrictions, including expiration dates and short, time-limited redemption periods. Special offers are personal to you and cannot be shared, copied or transferred. Read each offer carefully for specific details, expiration dates, and limitations and restrictions.
• BonusLoot Day. Nationwide may offer BonusLoot Days, where SnootLoot have a higher value when you share with Friends & Family. Bonus day offers only apply to share actions taken. Quotes or applications completed are not eligible for Bonus days. Nationwide will notify you of a designated Double Boop Day, which will be personalized and selected by Nationwide pet for you. You must access the Friends & Family platform OR opt-in to receive promotional and marketing emails from Nationwide in order to receive notice of a designated Double Boop Day.

SnootLoot is the currency for the Nationwide Friends & Family Program. Members may collect SnootLoot after sharing Nationwide pet insurance with Friends & Family. SnootLoot has no cash value but may be redeemed for rewards within the Friends & Family Program platform.

Your redemption of SnootLoot accrued in connection with the Nationwide Friends & Family Program cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts, unless otherwise expressly indicated by Nationwide.

The perks that are available to you through the Nationwide Friends & Family Program are based on the number of SnootLoot that you collect. You can collect SnootLoot in the following ways:

1. Sharing Nationwide^® pet insurance with Friends & Family through use of your personalized link. When you share information about Nationwide pet insurance with Friends & Family, you will collect 10 (ten) SnootLoot. You can collect 25 (twenty-five) SnootLoot when someone you share with completes a quote for Nationwide pet insurance. You can collect 50 (fifty) SnootLoot when someone you share with completes an application for Nationwide® pet insurance.
2. Promotional Bonus Bucks Offers. Occasionally, we, or others acting with our permission, may offer you opportunities to collect additional "Bonus Bucks” through special promotions. Promotional Bonus Bucks will be awarded as described in the applicable promotional offer and will be subject to any additional terms set forth in such promotional offer.
3. Partnership Programs. Eligible participants may accrue SnootLoot through participation in programs offered by our business partners. Nationwide does not operate and is not responsible for these programs, which have separate and additional terms and conditions.
4. Survey Participation. Eligible participants may accrue SnootLoot by completing different surveys or questionnaires related to satisfaction, product or program enhancements, demographics, and/or interests.

SnootLoot may be redeemed for promotional items from Nationwide® or our partners. Promotional items are subject to change and may change without notice. The Nationwide Friends & Family Program offers different rewards based on different SnootLoot redemption tiers. Note that the rewards available may vary by location and that Nationwide may adjust the items included in each tier at any time in its sole discretion. The SnootLoot redemption tiers are as follows:

• 25 SnootLoot may be redeemed for a Tier 1 promotional item. Promotional items are subject to change at any time and without notice. Promotional items are valued up to $5 (five) U.S. Dollars and may include: pet bandanas, pet food lids, pet food scoops, pet food bag clips, pet litter scoops, and more.
• 100 SnootLoot may be redeemed for a Tier 2 promotional item. Promotional items are subject to change at any time and without notice. Promotional items are valued up to $10 (ten) U.S. Dollars and may include: pet bowls, pet first aid kits, pet grooming gloves, pet toys, and more.
• 250 SnootLoot may be redeemed for a Tier 3 promotional item. Promotional items are subject to change at any time and without notice. Promotional items are valued up to $15 (fifteen) U.S. Dollars and may include: custom pet tags, poop bags, pet toys, partner items, and more.

There are no participation or membership fees associated with the Nationwide Friends & Family Program.

Your SnootLoot, Perks, and Friends & Family account are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others, or used by you for any commercial purpose. You may have only one (1) Nationwide Friends & Family account that is personal to you.

Without notice to you, Nationwide reserves the right to suspend your account and/or terminate your account and/or your participation in Nationwide Friends & Family Program if Nationwide determines, in its sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms of Use or that the use of your Nationwide Friends & Family account is unauthorized, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful. Nationwide may, in its sole discretion, suspend, cancel or combine Nationwide Friends & Family accounts that appear to be duplicative. In the event that your participation in Nationwide Friends & Family Program is terminated, all accrued SnootLoot in your account are void.

Without notice to you, Nationwide also reserves the right to "unregister" and make ineligible Nationwide Friends & Family accounts that have been inactive for two (2) consecutive years. Inactivity is defined as no SnootLoot collected during such two (2) consecutive year periods. In the event that your account is unregistered or rendered inactive, all accrued SnootLoot in your account are void.

This Program is governed by and subject to the laws of the United States and the state of Ohio without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof. Except where prohibited, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and all claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Program shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages or any other damages, including attorneys' fees. Entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms of Use is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Terms of Use and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
